About Shopping Pins
Shopping Pins exists because nobody has time to read four thousand reviews before buying a skillet.
That's the whole idea. We read them, at volume, and report what buyers actually agree on. Not what a brand claims. Not what one glowing five-star review says. What thousands of people who spent their own money keep repeating, praise and complaints both.
What makes us different
We tell you the catch. Every product on this site comes with a "Heads up": the most common complaint from real buyers. If a lunch box lid needs hand-washing or a hoodie runs big, you read it here before you buy, not on a return label afterward. No seller will ever tell you that. We will, every time.
We say when we don't know. Some categories have a clear winner and we name it. Others churn every year, or come down to personal taste, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. When that's the case we say so plainly and point you to the current top-rated options instead of inventing a verdict.
Nobody buys their way in. No brand pays for placement here. No brand can soften a criticism or delete one. We earn a commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you, and we get paid the same whether we recommend the expensive option or the cheap one. That's exactly why we're free to tell you when the $10 hoodie holds its own against the $100 one.
Where the name comes from
Pinterest is where most people find us, and a pin is a small promise: this is worth your attention. We try to earn that every time. If a product's reviews turn sour, it comes off the site.
If we get it wrong
Bought something we recommended and regretted it? Tell us. Enough signal like that and the product is gone. We would rather lose a commission than your trust, because the trust is the only thing this site actually has.
